What Is Success?
Success— what is it? One of the most beautiful explorations each individual can embark upon is seeking success in life. According to the dictionary, it’s “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.” We all have to find our own goal and purpose; but I think it’s the journey that matters more than the destination. The journey is the most exciting part of your path to success. The questions we ask along the way define our path— goals are not set in stone forever. They may change, be achieved or abandoned; new ones always await us. So is the dictionary wrong in defining success as mere accomplishment? Success is about learning— not just achieving but attempting and learning from it. Am example is relationships, you try and try till you meet the right one for your relationship success. Success is about continuing on this journey; it only culminates when we breathe our last. Perhaps success could be measured by the absence of regrets, a judgement made when we lie on our deathbeds, looking back at the voyage we undertook called life.
